Listening to all the orders that were being listed, it was enough to make Bel lose his colour once again- Ah, was that a hole in his wallet?-, the prospect of spending all of that money a little daunting.
As waitors clambered over and began to effortlessly clean the table up, Bel looked up at the one with the small, red notepad and began to relay Fran’s order with ease; Not bothering to answer Fran directly, Bel let the words ‘red velvet’ roll off his tongue like it was an everyday thing, as he ordered himself some of the sweet cake that himself and his date had had merely a bit ago.
“Five minutes. You’re okay with waiting that long, right?” Slim fingers tugged at the dark tie he wore, the material rather bothersome.
Fran crossed his arms and snuffed. “Of course I can wait a couple of minutes, senpai. Who do you think I am?” Besides, it’s not like he had a choice. Either he’d wait or have to deal with a half-assed sundae.
His mind lingered back to the prince’s order, though. Red velvet. That must be his favorite, then. Since the senior ordered it back at that cafe–
The cafe…huh?
The kouhai’s eyelids drooped as he rolled in his lips, feeling guilty for starting an argument back there. If he hadn’t done so, maybe the whole thing wouldn’t have happened… It might as well have been his fault.
Another sigh left his lips as he stared blankly at their now empty table.
He’s probably upset with me right now.
