Hand slipped into Fran’s, a request that mirrored his own previous action, fingers entwining with the smaller ones- Although, they weren’t that much smaller, not really, no matter how much Fran insisted they were.
His grin calmed after hearing Fran speak those three words, that rare smile appearing on his face- One that expressed adoration. A gentle adoration, not the crazy, obsessive type that was usually on his face.
“Does Franny promise?” If he promised, that would make things better- Wouldn’t it?
It was strange how gentle a psychopath could be when they found something worth cherishing; Fran was someone who, if he annoyed him, the Prince could easily harm without any qualms. He’d done it in the past. But then a foreign feeling of guilt would plague him ‘til no end until he was completely forgiven or could repent.
Fran’s heart literally melted into slush at that smile, his cheeks blushing even more furiously than before. It looked really gentle and sweet, different from Bel’s usual face-splitting grin. The kouhai had no idea that the older was capable of even smiling like that.
“Eh?” He blinked in surprise at the prince. A promise, huh? That was somewhat really childish, wasn’t it? Fran bit his lip and tried to hold back a smile but soon betrayed himself as his lips curled upward. He nodded his head and laughed softly. “…Mm, I do. I promise.”
