“Fran never disappoints the Prince.” Bel mumbled, moving back and running fingers through Fran’s hair- He should have expected that he upset him a lot, although it did hit hard when he actually said it.

“Fran… Tell the Prince what to do so he can make you happy. The Prince doesn’t want to upset Fran anymore…” Hues shifted to the side, looking away from Fran- He felt… Bad. Was Fran getting bored of him? Was he annoying him?

Heck, Bel didn’t even get his joke about bathing together and actually made him do it.

He didn’t exactly mean what he said in a bad way, but it seems that Bel took it as such. The way the blonde avoided his gaze and looked another direction proved his suspicion. “Even if senpai says I’m not a disappointment to him, I still feel like I am.” After all, he hasn’t done anything to make Bel feel special at all. Perhaps he’s…

No. The illusionist shook away the thought before he leaned in to stick their foreheads together, his lips forming a small pout. What the heck was this guy saying? He had already done so much for the kouhai, it shouldn’t be him asking that question at all!

But the way things were going, it’s seemed like Bel would not listen to him if he said so. With that, he timidly looked up at the prince. “Then promise me something, senpai.” He knew it was childish and cheesy and pathetic, but this was all he needed at the moment. Reassurance.

“Promise me you won’t leave me, that you won’t run away again… that you won’t fall in love with anyone else but me…”
