“Tch…” The blonde stared down at his other half with a steeled gaze, teeth baring as his patience wore thin.

“At least Fran wouldn’t have to think it’s his fault! If Fran died in the Prince’s care, he’d be ruined.” The thought of Fran crying because of him made his heart stop, a jolt of pain spiking through him- He’d made Fran cry enough times. Scoffing, he rolled off Fran, laying down next to him with lithe hands linked behind the blonde mop of hair; Hues were once again trained on the skylight.

“…” He remained quiet, not sure what to say- Everything that Fran had said… It had mirrored his own arguments perfectly, outdone them even, and it had him at a dead end.

Fran shrugged. “We can cross that bridge when we get there, senpai.” In the meantime, he supposed he should enjoy the peaceful atmosphere for now. He wiggled closer towards Bel, resting his linked hands on his own navel.

“…Point is, I missed you a lot, senpai.” He admitted timidly, staring at a cloud that slowly passed by and temporarily shaded the two from direct sunlight. “I had to deal with Levi being my partner all week. He’s such a pain in the ass, you know.”
