Bel had a similar problem- Although, he was the one to most likely admit that he had missed everything about Fran, not just his voice.
“I love you too, Fran.” Moving back to lie down, he took the illusionist with him, once again pulling the younger on top of him; Not once did he let their kisses end, a smile on his face constantly as he heard the words being uttered in close succession. It overwhelmed him, emotions peaking as his grip tightened on him.
And then there came the line of water slipping down his cheek.
Removing an arm from around his love, fingertips moved to the ever increasing trails of water coming from hidden optics; Why…? Was this what it was like to cry? He supposed it was because of Fran and the happiness he was feeling, but he hadn’t been aware of it until the tears had actually escaped. Ah, and he couldn’t stop it, either… How pathetic of him.
Feeling the wetness against his cheeks, Fran’s eyes shot open in complete shock as he yanked himself away from the prince and sat up to look at him in the face properly. Those tears falling against his cheeks only proved his suspicions, causing the the illusionist to feel bad. Damn, did he say something wrong again, just like he always had?
It pained him to see the usually confident senior cry like that- he didn’t like it one bit. And unconsciously, he continued to blame himself for it. He thought it was his fault that Bel had reacted this way, and that he needed to apologize. “S-sorry…” He stammered, hands curling in onto his lap. His head hung low and his lips were pressed together tightly as if he were holding something back. The teal gaze avoid the ones hidden under blonde bangs. The boy tried his best to keep that emotionless demeanor, but his eyes seemed to give it all away. “I’m… sorry.”
He said something out of line again. Stupid, stupid, stupid idiot.
